3rd Annual Dragon's Music & Arts Showcase Festival
Wide Spectrum of Image-Bending Artists of Asian Descent Gather in Hollywood from throughout the United States and Asia
HOLLYWOOD, CA September 17, 2004 -- On Friday: September 17, 2004, the 3rd Annual Dragon's Roar Music & Arts Showcase Festival" has continued its tradition of assembling a wide spectrum of adventurous and image-bending talents of Asian descent.
Highlights include Singapore's Skye first U.S. performance, Philippines' Prettier Than Pink's reunion appearance and the first West Coast concert for Washington D.C.'s The Speaks – among the 15+ participating artists.
Rock the Vote, APIA Vote and APA for Progress will be at the venue to register concert-goers to participate in the upcoming presidential election at the venue - Hollywood's "The Sunset Room."
Trail-blazing, daring and innovative film/video trailers from throughout the Asian/Asian Pacific American communities that explore issues of sexuality, status of the Asian Male, Filipino War Veterans, the Asian American lifestyle, political influence, etc. will be viewed between the various music performances on all the event's stages.
The 3rd Annual Dragon's Roar Music & Arts Showcase Festival, in conjunction with Know-It-All Records (http:www.KnowItAllRecords.Com) will provide an opportunity for concert-goers and online fans to select one of performing groups to have a record deal to allow them to "reach for the sun." The runner-up will have a track included on the upcoming "Know It All Records Annual 2004 C.D."
