Dragon Ball Z® Collectible Card Game Wraps up National Tour in Texas: Heroes Heading to Southlake

DALLAS, TX August 28,, 2002- If you have children then you've probably heard of Dragon Ball Z®, the top rated show on Cartoon Network. However, you might not know that one of the hottest products in the market, the Dragon Ball Z âCollectible Card Game, is produced by Score Entertainment in right here in Arlington. On top of that, the cartoon is voiced by local actors and produced by FUNimation in Fort Worth! The 2002 Nationwide Ultimate Victory Tour will be wrapping up the summer with a final stop in Southlake, TX. The tour, sponsored by Game Stop and Score Entertainment, will put on the brakes at the GameStop in the Southlake Market Place on September 7, 2002 from Noon until 4 PM.

At each stop, kids and adults alike can come out and meet two of the infamous DBZ™ voice actors, learn to play the card game and take a picture with the Dragon Ball Z® Collectible Card Game Hummer. The voice actors will be Krillin (Sonny Strait) and Bulma (Tiffany Vollmer).


"This is our 4th national tour and it was the best we have ever had. We planned a route that circled the entire United States and even ventured into Canada," says Adam Sheehan, mall tour manager.

Each event has been a huge success with over 2,500 DBZä enthusiasts crowding the stores and malls to meet the voice actors. This is a rare opportunity for kids to meet the real actors behind their favorite cartoon heroes.

Since its launch almost two years ago, The Dragon Ball Z® Collectible Card Game has hit the top of the charts. Supported by a strong tournament program and an enormous collectors following, consumers just can't seem to get enough of the hard hitting, action packed game.

The voice actors will be on hand to talk to their fans, take pictures and sign autographs from 12:00 – 4:00. Local DBZäCCG players will also be teaching game demos to anyone that wants to learn how to play.
