PARKLIFE UNVEILS DRAGON BALL Z® TRIVIA GAME

Parklife Games, Inc. today announced that the company has obtained the licensing rights and will have the exclusive worldwide preview of the first trivia game based on the smash-hit property, DRAGON BALL Z®.

The new game licensed by FUNimation Productions, Ltd., is a trivia-style format being created by Cherise Lambert, founder and president of Minneapolis-based Parklife Games.

Lambert said, "We are very excited about developing the new DRAGON BALL Z® Trivia Game. It is such a dynamic and engaging property, we feel fortunate to have the opportunity to create the game and reveal the concept at such a critical highpoint in the toy industry, like the 100th Anniversary year of The International Toy Fair."

The unveiling of the new game initiative will be presented February 16-19 at Parklife Game's booth #6008 in the Game Zone of The Jacob Javits Convention in New York City, host site of The 100th Annual International Toy Fair.

The DRAGON BALL Z® Trivia Game, (projected retail price $24.99), will be designed for 2 to 4 players ages 8 & up, and contain over 1,000 multiple choice trivia questions spanning the full scope of the legendary tales of DRAGON BALL Z® from the Saiyan Saga through the Majin Buu-Fusion Saga.

"With DRAGON BALL Z® going into it's Classic non-repeat year on Cartoon Network starting this Summer (276 English Episodes), this is the perfect launch period for an all encompassing Trivia Game. The much-anticipated release date for the DRAGON BALL Z® Trivia Game will coincide with the animated series this Summer," according to Lambert. "DRAGON BALL Z® fans won't have to wait long. Shipments of the game should begin by the end of second quarter 2003."

A sampling of a few of the types of entertaining questions to be included in the new game, include: (answers at end):
1) Who does Majin Buu eat first?
2) From whom did Trunks get his sword?
3) What is written on the front of Piccolo's shirt during the driving school episodes?
4) Who was the first Z-Warrior to find out that Goku was a Super Saiyan?

The DRAGON BALL Z® Trivia Game follows the success of Parklife's current hit trivia game, MAD ABOUT MOVIES! ® ($29.99). MAD ABOUT MOVIES challenges players, ages 12 and up, to move into the spotlight and show off their movie knowledge. The game contains over 1,500 different multiple choice and open-ended questions pertaining to popular films released mostly between 1970 and 2000, as well as some classics. MAD ABOUT MOVIES Booster Packs are also available to add more than 3,000 questions to the fun of game play.

Lambert founded Parklife Games, Inc. in 1997. Discovering a market niche and consumer demand, Lambert was inspired to create MAD ABOUT MOVIES. Now, a noted success in the game design, strategy and marketing, Lambert has expanded the business into the development of games based on licensed properties as well as proprietary products. 2004 will see the debut of the new MAD ABOUT MOVIES Daily Calendar.
